The only survivor of last Friday ghastly accident which took away eight OOU students and three others, Ibukun Laughter Akinbo, a 300-level Chemical Science student has explained how she survived. According to Ibukun a heavy breeze blew her away.
“I sat with my cousin, Yetunde Aribiola, on the front seat during the journey. Suddenly, the truck collided with the bus in which we were travelling, which caused the container to fall on the bus. I noticed the door broke away and a heavy breeze threw me out of the vehicle,” she said.
