'Our clothes aren't for people who like to eat':

Joseph sales assistant told woman 'Our clothes aren't for people who like to eat'

Kiran Dhaliwal, who wears a UK 10, said she was made to feel 'self-conscious' when she asked for help finding a pair of jeans in Joseph, on London's upmarket Sloane Street (inset).
When she later brought up the issue with staff, another woman made a comment about needing 'to carry curvier sizes', she claimed. Miss Dhaliwal, from Kent, pictured, said she was 'shocked' and 'disgusted' by the remarks, adding that 'no one should be made to feel that way'. Joseph said there was 'no substance' to the allegation.
