Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman (pictured bottom right when he was captured last year) is on the run from Altiplano jail, 50 miles outside of Mexico City, security officials said today.
It is thought the head of the powerful Sinaloa Cartel escaped through a hole in the prison's shower area last night and fled through a tunnel (left and top-right) that led to a half-built house around a mile away.
