Woman Returns Minutes After Stealing iPhone to Get the Phone She Left Behind




Laketa Wanamaker was arrested after she allegedly stole an iPhone 6 from behind the counter of Theresa’s Nails beauty salon in Delaware, Pennsylvania. 15 minutes later, she returned to the scene after leaving her own phone behind.

The blaze started at an outside pool area on the rooftop of The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday and quickly spread, setting pool cabanas and trees alight. As large plumes of black smoke billowed into the sky (left and right), terrified guests fled down 14 floors and more than 100 firefighters rushed to the scene.

To Star Trek fans, he will always be Captain Jean-Luc Picard, but to his father- in-law, Sir Patrick Stewart is known as ‘son’ – even though the actor is five years OLDER than his wife’s dad.
The 75-year-old star is married to musician Sunny Ozell, who is 39 years his junior. And although Ozell’s father was initially ‘not thrilled’ with the romance, the two men have grown to be friends.
Stewart said: ‘He rings me up and says, “Hey son, it’s your father here.” ’
In an interview with The Mail on Sunday’s Event magazine today, Ozell added that the hardest part of their relationship was meeting Stewart’s children from his first marriage to Sheila Falconer, who are now aged 42 and 47.

Hulk Hogan fired by WWE for his racist n-word rant


The WWE is cutting all ties with wrestling legend 61 year old Hulk Hogan after finding out about him angrily using the n-word to describe someone who was dating his daughter.

WWE fired Hogan after learning of a transcript of comments made on his sex tape.

Hogan is in the middle of a lawsuit over the tape released by Gawker and the n-word remarks are expected to come out once the trial begins later this year.

The transcripts of Hogan's sex tape likely stem from his ongoing lawsuit with Gawker, which published an excerpt of the tape in 2012. Hogan is suing Gawker for $100 million for allegedly invading his privacy by publishing it.

US senator calls Nigerian soldiers fighting Boko Haram, ‘rapists’


While in the US, president Buhari criticized the Leahy Law - a U.S. human rights law that prohibits the U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense from providing military assistance to foreign military units that violate human rights. Reacting, the sponsor of the Law, US Senator Patrick Leahy (the law is named after him) said Buhari is misguided in his criticism as the law, which has so far stopped the US govt from assisting Nigeria in the war against Boko Haram, can't be blamed for the atrocities committed by the 'murderers and rapists in the Nigerian military'.

It will be recalled that Ms. Oteh was praised for transforming SEC during her time. 

South African Police Beat Nigerian To Death

The President of Nigeria Union in South Africa, Ikechukwu Anyene, on Thursday, decried the killing of a Nigerian in Hillbrow, Johannesburg. NAN recalls that the Nigerian, Nonso Odo, 30, from Amangwu-Nkwerre, Imo State, was allegedly tortured to death by South African Police officers on Thursday.

Mr Emeka Ezinteje, Public Relations Officer of the union, told NAN in Johannesburg that the union decried the incident after receiving the report.

Comedian Simon To Be Charged For Assaulting Sepp Blatter With Dollars

Comedian Simon Brodkin has revealed the money he showered over FIFA President Sepp Blatter was $600 of his own money and that he received all of it back from the police. Brodkin, best known for his comedy alter egos Lee Nelson and Jason Bent, evaded security to storm a press conference at FIFA headquarters in Zurich on Monday and threw the dollar bills at Blatter.

He was arrested and charged with trespassing by the Swiss authorities on Tuesday before being released to return to the UK.

Warning over car scammers after punters lose thousands of euro buying 'scrap' vehicles



A lowlife family is behind a string of car scams that have left punters out of pocket and driving dangerous motors, the Irish Mirror can reveal.
Victims of the racket have been conned out of thousands of euro, left with vehicles “worth nothing more than their weight in scrap”.
The scam involves the family placing an online advert where they value cars at well below the usual asking price.

Gardai launch probe into horror car crash which killed four pals



A criminal probe has been launched into the deaths of four young women in a horrific car smash which shook the nation.
A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the tragic passing of Aisling Middleton, Niamh Doyle, Gemma Nolan and Chermaine Carroll in January this year.
Their pal Dayna Kearney was driving the car which collided with a van near Athy, Co Kildare.
She was in intensive care for a number of days and is continuing her recovery from home.
Gardai confirmed to the Irish Mirror that a file has been sent to the DPP, who will now decide whether or not any criminal charges will be brought.
